Mierce Miniatures really knows how to do Minotaurs. I really love how they sculpted their Tarvax line and this one was especially fun to paint:

Miniature Spotlight: Infinity ALEPH Steel Phalanx Group Shot June 2016
Here's what my group shot of my Steel Phalanx Sectorial Army looks like after the first month of painting:
I'm very happy with the color scheme and the overall look of the army. :) On my painting schedule for July are the Yudbots and Netrots from the Aleph Support, a Dactyl Engineer, Diomedes, one Ekdromoi with HMG and one with a Combi Rifle, the Myrmidon Hacker and the Myrmidon Officer from the Steel Phalanx Box Set and maybe Achilles and Ajax. Let's see how it goes. :)

Miniature Spotlight: Infinity - ALEPH - The Myrmidons
A quick group shot of the Myrmidons from the
Myrmidons Box and the Myrmidon (Spitfire):
After finding the right color scheme it was really fun to paint the Myrmidons. I tried two different color schemes before choosing this one and for a short time it almost felt like I would never finish this box. Instead I would paint the same miniatures over and over again, for all eternity. ;) But now they're done and I'm really happy with the results. YAY! :)

Miniature Spotlight: Infinity - ALEPH - Myrmidon Boarding Shotgun
YAY! I finished the last Myrmidon from the
Myrmidons Box:
I painted this Myrmidon with an airbrush and with a traditional brush. The Colors are Black (Model Air 057), German Camo Beige WWII (Model Color 821), Deck Tan (Model Color 986), German Grey (Model Air 052), Barley Grey (Model Air 051), White (Game Air 701) and for parts of the visor a 1:1 mixture of Ghost Tint Green (D6-169) and Ghost Tint Plasma Fluid (D6-180) from Minitaire. The Techniques used include black lining (with Liquitex Carbon Black Ink) and Edge Highlighting (Ivory 918 Model Color). I used cork for the street/gravel/city parts of the base, Rough Grey Pumice Texture from Vallejo for the earth/dirt parts and the "early fall" two colored tufts from Mininatur for a bit of vegetation.

Miniature Spotlight: Tucuxi 'Evora' Cars from Antenocitis Workshop:
I really like the design of the Tucuxi 'Evora' Cars from Antenocitis Workshop:
Painting them was fun even though the blacklining took soooooo long until it was done. The Cars totally remind me (like almost every car without wheels) of the Cyberpunk 2020 RPG Cover:
This book started my love for Pen&Paper RPGs. I was twelve when I bought it. Side note: I love "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". It's just an absolute masterpiece of a game and a true piece of art. I still can't believe that the people behind that game are making a Cyberpunk 2077 game. That is a dream come true and I can't wait to play it. :D

Miniature Spotlight: The modular City Graveyard // Garden of Morr
It took me quite a while (I have way to many projects on my workbench...) but I
finally finished my modular city graveyard:
The awesome Garden of Morr from Games Workshop is integrated in the design of the Graveyard. I chose to make three separate terrain pieces from the Garden to create more possible variations:
I also included a small Diorama:
it is (as almost everything else) designed to be modular:
It can be used with miniatures:
or with additional scenery elements:
I also created a small hill for the Cemetery Chapel from Ziterdes:
There are two large areas for optional scenery and/or houses:
There
are various smaller, bigger, broken and unbroken pieces to change up the design. Here is an example of a few of them:
I used 2 Trees from the Citadel Wood and the two Tombs of Darkness together with the three statues from Ziterdes in this setup as well as several single graves.
All in all I'm very pleased with the results of this project. It was a lot of work to get it this far but it was worth it. I will create new pieces for this project in the future but for now I'm done and extremely happy. :) :) :)
