Within moments they encountered the demon Gurmendrox, a small Imp with conjuring powers and slimy servants, who threw a great force of beasts at the Templars.

Gurmendrox was severely wounded and fled the scene, but his creatures were responsible for the death of two members of the group, the Templars Lukrezia von der Rhein and Baragas von Tiefenberg. While they could be resurrected just in time, everyone who crosses over to the other side even for a small moment leaves something there and needs to recover from that harsh experience.
