Battle report: The Mausoleum (Part II)

After defeating the Skaven guards and their Crystalmystic, the group searched the ruins and descended to the lower levels of the Mausoleum.
Within moments they encountered the demon Gurmendrox, a small Imp with conjuring powers and slimy servants, who threw a great force of beasts at the Templars.

In the lower levels of the Mausoleum...

...there were undead oozes...

...who had a special surprise inside them...

...undead Soldiers!

The guardian of the first level...

...the demon Gurmendrox...

...summoned undead beasts...

...and  spirits...

...to fight the group.

Natural caverns were connected to the Mausoleum...

...which were the home of many dangers and monsters.

Probably not a friendly invitation to a bunch of high fives

Is it just one or are there many creatures...

 beneath this pond?

Gurmendrox was severely wounded and fled the scene, but his creatures were responsible for the death of two members of the group, the Templars Lukrezia von der Rhein and Baragas von Tiefenberg. While they could be resurrected just in time, everyone who crosses over to the other side even for a small moment leaves something there and needs to recover from that harsh experience.
