I bought two 3d printers to expand my miniature collection and I'm really excited to venture into this new part of the hobby. My devices of choice were the Elegoo Mars 3 and the Anycubic Vyper. I'm so excited!!! :)

The Happy Spender: Forest Terrain from Tabletop Modellbau
Since my new D&D campaign will be the Kingmaker campaign (in a gridless Pathfinder variant) I bought a lot of stuff from Tabletop Modellbau:
I think this will be pretty great for all the above ground/forest encounters featured in Kingmaker. Don't get me wrong,I still like the good ol' battle map from Hotz Maps:
But I always wanted to explore the possibilities of gridless D&D and I thought about investing in a lot of Terranscapes products for the new campaign or build my own stuff. But this new range of modular tabletop terrain is even created and produced in Germany, just a few miles away from my location (roughly a 3 hour drive away) and gets delivered to my front door without the hassle of going to the customs office and paying extra import taxes etc.
I especially like the river parts and the ability to create multiple levels. I also bought add-ons to build even higher hills and thus having the ability to create 3 to 4 levels on the gaming table.I really can't wait to see what kind of combinations I will be able to build and how much Dwarven Forge I can sneak into each setup. :)

The Happy Spender: The Coaching Inn and the Town House II from Tabletop World
I recently bought the Couching Inn and the Townhouse II from Tabletop World.
As always the quality of the buildings is superb, very little to no cleanup is required before painting.
And they look amazing:

The Happy Spender: Town and City Buildings from Ziterdes
I bought a lot of buildings from Ziterdes:
All the buildings are made from Structure Hardfoam. I already own the Cemetery Chapel from Ziterdes which is also made from that material. I used the Chapel as a centerpiece in my "The Black Church" Game Session:
The buildings can't be compared to the beautiful resin buildings from Tabletop World but they surely are nice enough to deserve a place on any gaming table. I really hope to find the time to throw some paint at them in the near future.

| Wizard's Home |
| Boulder Stone Cottage |

The Happy Spender: It's A Jungle Out There - The Realm of the Ancient Sets from Dwarven Forge and ESLO Jungle Terrain
My current campaign brings the group into a new region far away from home: The Jungle of No Return.
The Realm of the Ancient Sets from Dwarven Forge will work perfectly for the dungeon terrain I need for this setting so I bought another one of the Realm of the Ancients Sets:
The set compliments the first Set which I bought in '11:
And since I want to build setups with a lot of vegetation around it I bought some palm trees and other awesome stuff from Elso Terrain:

The Happy Spender: Woodland Terrain from ESLO
I'm a big fan of Pathfinder and I will adapt the
campaign world as well as a whole lot of their really cool adventures into my next
campaign, starting with the awesome Kingmaker adventure series. And since Kingmaker is set to play in the
Stolen Lands it will feature a whole lot of woodland battles and surface
encounters. Of course there will still be a fair share of dungeons, it's
still Dungeons and Dragons, after all. Like I said in my last
post the new campaign will likely start after the next summer so I have
quite some time left to paint new stuff and to
stock up on woodland terrain. I could very
likely build most of the terrain myself but there's so much
else to paint and work on, sometimes it's just nice to have some "out of
the Box and ready to play" game accessories. So I decided to get some
cool stuff from ESLO Terrain to get things started:
Lots of trees, some hills, a vegetable garden, a field and a few bushes. So far so good. :)

The Happy Spender: The Chaos Lord from GW
My
current
campaign is very likely to conclude after the Summer of 2014 and I
already started to work on my next campaign. And of course I already
started to buy miniatures
for it. My first addition to my collection is the Chaos Lord from GW:
I really
like the whole design of this miniature. The pose, the dark aura, all in all pretty
perfectly done.

The Happy Spender: Spartan Scenics Med Lab and Armoury Accessories
I really like the new range of terrain from Spartan Games. Especially their line of accessories like the Spartan Scenics Med Lab Accessories and the Armoury Accessories.
I have them on my table right now and the details are great. And I like
the use of acrylic glass to enhance the realistic feeling of the sets.
Here are two images from Spartan Games that show the Med Lab and the Armoury Accessories together with their new line of buildings. I think I might add their complete Scenic line to my Sci-Fi collection, this looks very promising:

The Happy Spender: Town Guards, Bards, Banners and the new Spartan Scenics Med Lab and Armoury Accessories
The Town Guard from Scibor Miniatures will make a nice addition for my townsfolk collection:
I
especially like the jester/drummer and the monk. I will probably change his standard because it's a little bit to much and over the top
(but think it would make an awesome sign for a tavern). But thinking
about changing it gave
me the perfect excuse to also buy these cool banners from Tabletop-Art for a possible conversion:
Another nice addition to my Townsfolk collection will be this awesome bard from Enigma Miniatures:
I don't like the bard character class that much but I do like them as miniatures in a tavern setting or at a market. Or as awesome orcish Heavy Metal bands. Speaking of awesome: I really like the new line of Sci-Fi accessories from Spartan Games. They make amazing stuff and I couldn't resist to add some of it to my collection:
To wrap things up, here are my thoughts about bards as a character class, beautifully summarized by the one and only Dungeon Bastard:

The Happy Spender: A mighty Demon, a Werebear, a Giant and lots of Minotaurs and Beastmen
Back in January I participated in the Mierce Miniatures Kickstarter. I
did go back and forth on that decision during the time the Kickstarter
was active because of the Maelstrom Games thing (there's a lot of
discussion about it various blogs if you want to read more about it)
but finally decided to invest a bit of money and give Mierce the
benefit of the doubt even so I read in various blogs and forums that
there was a chance that I would never see any product for my money. Of
course that is a chance with every Kickstarter project but everyone who
knows about the Maelstrom Games thing knows what I'm talking about.
Today I got a package from MM in the mail and I received every pledge
reward I was promised and the miniatures look absolutely awesome:
And last but not least 6.5 inches (16, 5 cm) of demonic awesomeness:
I always loved the design of the Banelegions/Darklands miniatures and the new Miniatures are also absolutely beautifully sculpted. There are some mold lines and a lot of flash so I will give a final verdict about the quality when everything is assembled and the clean up is done but everything looks absolutely top notch so far. :)
